Why the name?
The company’s formation was founded on the same entrepreneurial principle as many others – the belief that the hard-earned experience of, what, and what not to do, in one’s profession can translate into a company with a different, and we think better, point of view.
Our POV isn’t just our EHS and compliance services themselves, it is HOW we approach the work.
THE APPROACH:
- We believe that assisting in client bottom line objectives will ultimately increase ours, and that customer service is king. In other words, do the work with excellence and the revenue will follow as a natural byproduct. -
We understand that some client’s need only a quick, turnkey EHS solution with minimal engagement. But we also understand that many client’s seek partners, not just another vendor. If you need a bag of nuts and bolts, automated ordering is ideal. If you need to game plan, strategize and tackle complex compliance issues, you need customer service, you need a partner.

Many people ask where our name came from, “Oceanbound”. Years ago, when the company was formed, we were faced with the surprisingly challenging task of coming up with a name; something that stood out, but also reflected immediate goals. At the time, our owner was working on client project in Madison, Wisconsin…in January. It was 25 degrees with a foot of snow. We aren’t claiming divine inspiration but heading to a Florida beach looked pretty good in that exact moment – “Oceanbound”, that sounds about right – consider it aspirational.
